Classes: Ages 10-13
The 2026-2027 Season runs September 10th through May 13th. All students build their technical work throughout the year and prepare a piece for the spring recital taking place May 7th & May 8th. All students in these classes perform in two spring recitals.

About Ballet Ballet is characterized by light, graceful movements of effortless strength, usually accompanied by classical music. In these classes, students will learn the extensive detail behind the technique of this genre as well as many different movements and the vocabulary that goes along with them. About Lyrical Lyrical is a style of dance combining ballet and jazz together. Usually performed to music with lyrics, this genre aims to portray a story or feeling through the movements of their body. Students learn different turns, leaps, and jumps along with different qualities of movement. A wonderful class for students who want to express themselves through dance. |

About Jazz Jazz is a lively dance form that compliments the sounds and rhythms of jazz and contemporary music. In these classes, students will learn the energetic, fun, and exciting movements that modern jazz dance has to offer. A fun class for the student with a little sass in their step! About Musical Theater Musical Theater is a form of theatrical performance that combines dance, songs, and acting. The story and emotional content of a musical – humor, love, anger – are communicated through words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment. |

About Tap Tap is a form of dance where special shoes equipped with taps make several different types of sounds as the dancer moves. Tap shoes are used to complement and intensify rhythms of music. The perfect genre for those who love a little Broadway flair. ModernModern 1 (Ages 12+)
Modern 2 (Ages 12+)
About Modern Modern dance was created as a rebellion to classical ballet. Its styles are nontraditional and a freer style of dance. Students learn different qualities of dance and how their body can move and express that in their own unique style. A good class for students seeking a technical style of dance that allows more freedom. |

About Hip Hop Hip Hop is a popular, exciting form of street dance usually performed to hip hop music. The music is fuel for the movement and complex rhythms in this style of dance. Students learn a wide variety of styles such as breaking, locking, and popping. Great for students who like to dance with style and funk. AcroAcro 3
About Acro Acro trains on strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and balance for dancers to learn and execute gymnastics-based tricks commonly used in the dance world. |
