"I Dream of Dance" Scholarship
The “I Dream of Dance” Scholarship was created by an anonymous donor who wants to make an impact in the dance education of a student who shows great passion for dance, but needs assistance with tuition and costume. The Scholarship covers tuition and costume fees for one class for the 2025-2026 Season.

How to apply:
To apply, send us a 1-3 minute video to telling us about yourself and why you would make a great candidate for this Scholarship. Video must include:
Send the video via Google Drive to [email protected] no later than Monday, July 14th. All submissions will be reviewed by a team of NDAOD staff members and a recipient will be announced via email to the recipient on Thursday, July 18th.
- Tuition Paid for the 2025-2026 Season - up to a 1.25 hr class.
- Costume Fee Paid for one class.
- Recipient responsible for all other fees including, but not limited to, shoes, tights, tickets, pictures, recital videos, additional lessons, etc.

- Applicant must either be registered for 2025-2026 classes prior to applying OR must register within two days of being chosen for the scholarship to retain it.
- Must be a positive role model and show support to NDAOD and it’s dancers.
- Scholarship is non-refundable or transferable.
How to apply:

- Your name and age.
- How long you have been dancing (or if this will be your first year).
- What classes your are registered (or want to register) for.
- Why you love dance.
- How this scholarship will impact you.
- Must also include footage of you dancing improvisation or choreography you created in any genre.

"Stepping Strong" Scholarship for Single-Family Home (up to $910)
"Dancing Beyond Limits" Scholarship for Children with Disabilities (up to $1,390)
"Next Level" Scholarship for Supporting a Competitive Dancer (up to $1,295)
- Tuition Paid for the 2025-2026 Season - up to a 1.25 hr class.
- Costume Fee Paid for one class.
- Recipient responsible for all other fees including, but not limited to, shoes, tights, tickets, pictures, recital videos, additional lessons, etc.
- Must be between the age of 2-18 years of age upon applying.
- Applicants must either be registered for 2025-2026 classes prior to applying OR must register within 2 days of being chosen for the scholarship to retain it.

"First Steps" Scholarship for Low-Income Families ($1,000)
- Scholarship for the 2025-2026 Season can go towards tuition, costume, shoes, tights, tickets, recital videos, & additional lessons - up to $1,000.
- Must be between the age of 2-18 years of age upon applying without previous dance experience.
- Applicants must either be registered for 2025-2026 classes prior to applying OR must register within 2 days of being chosen for the scholarship to retain it.
- Must be a positive role model and show support to NDAOD and its dancers.
- Scholarship is non-refundable or transferable.
"Stepping Strong" Scholarship for Single-Family Home (up to $910)
- Tuition Paid for the 2025-2026 Season - up to a 1.25 hr class.
- Costume Fee Paid for one class.
- Recipient responsible for all other fees including, but not limited to, shoes, tights, tickets, pictures, recital videos, additional lessons, etc.
- Must be between the age of 2-18 years of age upon applying.
- Applicants must either be registered for 2025-2026 classes prior to applying OR must register within 2 days of being chosen for the scholarship to retain it.
- Must be a positive role model and show support to NDAOD and its dancers.
- Scholarship is non-refundable or transferable.
"Dancing Beyond Limits" Scholarship for Children with Disabilities (up to $1,390)
- Tuition Paid for the 2025-2026 Season - up to a 1.25 hr class.
- Student dance assistant assigned to help guide them through class.
- Costume Fee Paid for one class.
- Recipient responsible for all other fees including, but not limited to, shoes, tights, tickets, pictures, recital videos, additional lessons, etc.
- Must be between the age of 2-18 years of age upon applying.
- Applicants must either be registered for 2025-2026 classes prior to applying OR must register within 2 days of being chosen for the scholarship to retain it.
- Must be a positive role model and show support to NDAOD and its dancers.
- Scholarship is non-refundable or transferable.
"Next Level" Scholarship for Supporting a Competitive Dancer (up to $1,295)
- Competition Tuition Paid for the 2025-2026 Season supporting a dancer who would not be able to otherwise participate in the program.
- Costume Fee Paid for one piece.
- Recipient may use the remainder of the scholarship for competition fees and dance attire at the studio. Dancer is responsible for all other fees after the $1,295 is met.
- Must be between the age of 2-18 years of age upon applying.
- Applicants must either be registered for 2025-2026 classes prior to applying OR must register within 2 days of being chosen for the scholarship to retain it.
- Dancers must be registered and retain registration in the required recreational classes per the Competition Handbook.
- Must be a positive role model and show support to NDAOD and its dancers.
- Scholarship is non-refundable or transferable.
